IRRADIANCE
Irradiance refers to the amount of light energy emitted by the LEDs on the mask's surface. The optimal clinical irradiance is considered to be around 40–150 mW/cm2 (Calderhead, 2018; Sorbellini et al., 2018). The Bright On LED face Mask irradiance is 50mW/cm2. This level of irradiance, combined with the ideal wavelengths, ensures the mask's high effectiveness while maintaining safety standards.
About LED lights
Red light (625nm) | Aims to help reduce the prominence of pores, fine lines, wrinkles, and signs of aging, whilst working towards achieving a more youthful, smooth, and vibrant complexion.
Near-infrared light (850nm) | Invisible to the naked eye, delivers energy to the skin cells. Its function is to support improved circulation, stimulate collagen production, enhance the skin’s tone and texture, and contribute to the reduction of pigmentation concerns.
Blue light (460nm) | Targets problematic skin by helping to reduce impurities on the skin and to help regulate activity in the sebaceous glands. Blue light may result in a clearer and more radiant complexion.
Choosing your LED light combinations!
Ageing Skin – Red & Near-Infrared | This LED light combination is associated with stimulating the formation of collagen and elastin, helping to reduce the signs of ageing. Red light helps promote collagen production, while Near-Infrared light penetrates deeper to enhance rejuvenation.
Oily, Problematic or Hypersensitive Skin – Blue & Red | This combination can help soothe problematic skin. Blue light has antibacterial properties to promote a clearer complexion, while red light aids in soothing inflammation and signs of ageing. It’s beneficial for individuals with oily or problematic skin who may also be concerned about signs of ageing. *Please note you will see purple as the two lights together create a purple hue.

HOW TO CHARGE:
You will not be charging for the mask itself. You will be charging the controller.
• Connect the controller with a qualified adapter (not included) via the type-C charging cable.
• Plug into the power supply. The screen will light up and the battery symbol will scroll during charging.
• A solid battery symbol represents a full charge. Unplug the adapter then.
NOTE: Do not over charge the controller as overcharging can affect the battery power over time.
HOW TO USE
• Cleanse and dry skin
• Loop head straps and slot in eye protectors into the mask.
• Plug the connector of the Type-C cable on the mask port into the controller.
• Hold mask close to your face and fasten straps around your head.
• Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds to turn on, the default mode is red light mode.
• Sit back, relax, and let your skin soak up the rejuvenating light.
• For optimal results, use it as a weekly at-home treatment or 3-5 times a week.
NOTE: Before using the device, we recommend performing a sensitisation test.
HOW TO RECYCLE
Foam Insert - add to recycling bin.
Box - Made FSC certified paper. Flatten and add to recycling bin.
Mask - Please package and return the device to us to safely dispose of the device.
